CUSTOMER

The company offers market tracking information and insights, forecasting, and data management software for retail executives. The Client serves manufacturing, retail, health care, and pharmaceutical industries worldwide.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Migrate and test all Maestro jobs from HP-UX to Airflow on a Linux environment
  • Migrate and test all scripts from HP-UX to Linux — server by server
  • Conduct thorough testing of migrated scripts and jobs to ensure functionality and performance meet required standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues encountered during the migration process
  • Deploy all developed and tested scripts and jobs to the production environment
  • Ensure that all scripts and jobs are correctly integrated and functioning as expected in the production environment
  • Monitor the performance of deployed scripts and jobs, making necessary adjustments to optimize performance
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance, making updates as needed to accommodate system changes

REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge and experience with Bash and scripting
  • Familiarity with Linux and Unix environments
  • Experience with migrations
  • Experience with system administration and troubleshooting in Unix/Linux environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot network issues
  • Familiarity with Disaster Recovery planning and implementation
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • At least an Intermediate level of English
