We welcome a Strong Middle Data Engineer to join our product development team, willing to be involved in all aspects of the development lifecycle.
The Company, headquartered in Germany, is one of Europe’s leading logistics providers and is seeking to extend its technological team with a skilled Data Engineer.
As a Strong/Middle Data Engineer, you will be able to take part in the design and development of a new data platform enabling Power BI reporting/analytics functionality to build hundreds of reports, self-service analytics, and a modern data science capability with automation capabilities.

CUSTOMER
Our customer competence lies particularly in developing and realizing integrated supply chain systems, and it is considered a pioneer of contract logistics.
PROJECT
The project is a V.2 of the already existing platform.
It aims to have a fresh and up-to-date view to create a replacement for the current solution. Everything is done from scratch, using the latest approaches and best practices. One of the biggest values here is teamwork. The person we are looking for should be able to cooperate within the team, foster a friendly atmosphere, and be passionate about what they do.
REQUIREMENTS
- Advanced Power BI knowledge and practical experience
- Good experience in using SQL datasets
- Strong ability to create complex reports and dashboards
- Strong ability to create customized components
- Strong Communication and Problem-Solving Skills
- Experience with DAX, TE2
- Knowledge of Star Schema for Power BI Data Modelling
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyzing the requirements
- Transforming raw data into actionable insights by creating user-friendly reports and dashboards based on Power BI technology
- Customizing Power BI components
- Taking part in daily meetings with the team and the customer
