Required skills:
• understanding of Linux systems and fundamentals.
• fluent in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Perl, etc..).
• experience authoring and operating high-scale services.
• experience with scalable distributed systems, both built from scratch as well as on AWS primitives.
• good understanding of configuration management technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, etc...
• quick and precise and troubleshooting infrastructure issues.
• understanding of version control systems and software development methodologies.
• willingness to learn and use new technologies.
• good team player and flexible yet organized mindset.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience.

Will be a plus:
• security-focused knowledge and mindset.
• understanding of NoSQL databases like Mongo, ElasticSearch, etc...
• understanding of scalability of SQL databases like Postgres.
• experience with high-growth startups.
Strong open-source contributions.

What will you be doing?
• work across different dev teams to implement their code as microservices in Kubernetes.
• advise on application scaling, monitoring, and security best practices.
• set up new infrastructure systems as infra-as-code.
• write scripts and create Docker containers from scratch for internal tooling.
• review infrastructure-related code and offer improvements.
