The Role:

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will be part of the R&D department, which plays a strategic role in the company and helps Shelf to create a difference in the market. We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced and skilled Machine Learning Engineer with Autonomous Agent development experience and with a strong background in Python, Cloud Services (AWS, Azure, GCP), Data Engineering and Machine Learning.

Our mission is to create artificial intelligent systems that can navigate complex business environments and be a driver of innovation for the modern world. We are seeking a talented and passionate Machine Learning Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our innovative ML solutions.

You will work on a B2B product that is used by tens of thousands of users from such organizations like Glovo, HelloFresh, Herbalife, etc, and experiencing growth every consecutive month.


Highly desirable that the ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the areas of, LLM, prompt engineering, LangChain, Vector DB, SQL and NoSQL databases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in Machine Learning, Data Science, or Artificial Intelligence.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in SQL, NoSQL, and Vector databases.
  • Hands-on experience with popular ML libraries and frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
  • Proficient knowledge of AWS services, including S3, EC2, Lambda, DDB and RDS. Or their equivalents in Azure, GCP.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental ML concepts, such as supervised and unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, and neural networks.
  • Experience with quick prototyping and working with incomplete requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

As a plus

  • Experience with Amazon ML Services, including custom modeling on SageMaker.
  • Experience with LangChain, OpenSource LLM Models, Prompt Engineering.
  • Experience with Pinecone, ElasticSearch, DeepLake, or other Vector DB.
  • Experience with search and recommendation engines.
  • Experience deploying and maintaining ML solutions in production.
  • Experience in autonomous agents development.
  • Experience in chat bot development.
  • Strong knowledge of NLP fundamentals.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement autonomous agents using cutting-edge AI techniques, including prompt engineering, reinforcement learning, AGI, and game theory.
  • Work with a variety of NLP and ML techniques to deliver best possible solutions for the business task.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate autonomous agents into new and existing products and services.
  • Write and maintain high-quality Python code and database solutions to support ML functionality.
  • Conduct research on emerging trends and technologies in AI, LLM, and autonomous agents, and recommend strategic improvements to enhance our capabilities.
  • Contribute into collective competence through documentation of code, algorithms, development process and knowledge sharing sessions .
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
