Security Engineer (вакансія неактивна)

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer to join our team. As a Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our and our clients’ systems and data. You will be responsible for implementing security measures, identifying vulnerabilities, and responding to security incidents.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices to protect the organizations’ information systems and data.
• Conduct ongoing security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and address security weaknesses.
• Monitor security events and incidents, analyze security logs, respond to security alerts, and investigate security breaches.
• Manage and configure security tools and technologies, including firewalls, SIEM systems, intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS), WAF, and antivirus solutions, etc.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security solutions for new projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Provide expert security consulting to customers, offering guidance on security policies, incident response planning, and security awareness training.

• Extend security practices to cover on-premises, public cloud, and hybrid environments, with expertise in cloud security best practices.

• Stay current with cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to enhance the organization’s security posture.
• Maintain detailed documentation of security configurations, policies, procedures, and incident reports.

Qualifications

• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, WAF, vulnerability scanners, antiviruses, endpoint security solutions etc.
• Proven experience as a Security Engineer or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and security technologies.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and penetration testing.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Minimum Intermediate level of English
• Ability to start working at 6 am by Ukrainian time

Nice to have:

• Programming Skills: Knowledge of scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, etc) for automation and custom tool development.
• Certifications: Additional certifications related to cloud security (e.g., AWS Certified Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, GCP Security Engineer) or specific technologies are a plus.
• Threat Intelligence: Familiarity with threat intelligence feeds and the ability to integrate threat intelligence into security operations.
• Container Security: Experience with container security practices and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• DevSecOps: Understanding of DevSecOps principles and the ability to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with AI-driven security solutions and machine learning technologies.
• Incident Response Experience: Hands-on experience in incident response, digital forensics, and malware analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
