About Mantena

Mantena is a leading provider of maintenance and repair services for railway vehicles, components, and railway construction equipment. Originally the workshop unit for the Norwegian State Railways, Mantena became a private limited company in 2002 and is now owned by the Norwegian Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries. In addition to core railway maintenance, Mantena also delivers advanced services such as thermal spraying of metals.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IBM Maximo Specialist to strengthen our internal Enterprise Asset Management capabilities. The successful candidate will serve as the technical lead for Maximo, ensuring the system supports our operations efficiently and securely.

Responsibilities

• Configure, customize, and maintain IBM Maximo workflows
• Perform Maximo development tasks, including scripting and technical enhancements
• Manage and improve system integrations, with a strong focus on REST APIs
• Troubleshoot issues and ensure system stability and scalability
• Act as the internal subject matter expert for Maximo Enterprise Asset Management
• Collaborate with operational and IT teams to align system functionality with business needs

Requirements

• Extensive, hands-on experience with IBM Maximo EAM
• IBM Maximo certification strongly preferred
• Proven skills in workflow configuration and application development
• Strong expertise in system integrations, especially REST APIs
• Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
• Independent, proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills
