We operate fully integrated farming facilities, from smolt production to salmon processing and distribution to the global market. To strengthen our IT department, we are now looking for a skilled consultant responsible for our cloud services and network architecture in Azure.

About the Role
As a consultant responsible for cloud services at Nordlaks, you will play a key role in our digital transformation. You will be responsible for managing and further developing our cloud delivery, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID (formerly known as Azure Active Directory), and Power BI. Additionally, you will take a leading role in designing and implementing network architecture in Azure.

This position offers you the opportunity to work closely with both IT management and technical teams, where you will help shape Nordlaks’ future IT landscape. You will be responsible for ensuring the stable operation of our cloud services while focusing on developing and adapting the systems to meet our security, scalability, and performance needs.

Responsibilities

• Administration and maintenance of Microsoft 365, including email, SharePoint, Teams, and security services.
• Overall responsibility for Entra ID (Azure AD), including user management, client security, and access control.
• Planning, design, and maintenance of network architecture in Azure, including VPN solutions, hybrid cloud solutions, and virtual networks.
• Management of Azure cloud services, including virtual machines, storage, network, and security solutions.
• Implementation and development of Power BI solutions, including data analysis, visualization, and reporting.
• Ensuring compliance with security requirements and best practices for cloud-based systems, including identity and access management.
• Collaborating with internal departments to identify new needs and ensure continuous development of cloud services.
• Responsibility for monitoring, reporting, and documenting system performance and usage.
• Serving as a technical resource for the team and contributing to skills development within the IT department.

Qualifications

• Higher education in IT, information technology, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure administration.
• Good knowledge of Entra ID (Azure AD), including user management and security solutions such as MFA.
• Experience with network architecture in Azure, including network segmentation, VPN, and security groups.
• Experience with Power BI.
• Solid understanding of cloud security and best practices for cloud-based infrastructure.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting, Terraform, and automation of cloud-based tasks is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of network solutions and infrastructure in the cloud.
• Experience in monitoring and managing cloud infrastructure.
