The Role:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented DevOps Engineer to join our team. This role can be in-person, hybrid, or remote in Kyiv, Ukraine. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining our infrastructure to ensure efficient, secure, and scalable software development and deployment. You will collaborate with engineering teams to automate workflows, optimize performance, and implement best practices in system and application architecture.

Objectives of this Role:

• Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to automate workflows, streamline deployment processes, and optimize system performance.
• Build and manage cloud-based infrastructure using tools like AWS, Terraform, and Docker.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security through proactive monitoring, maintenance, and incident response.
• Support containerized deployments and orchestration using Amazon Web Services and ECS to ensure rapid and reliable application delivery.
• Integrate and optimize systems using tools like Elasticsearch for search and data analysis and Golang for backend services.
• Stay updated on emerging DevOps trends and technologies, driving continuous improvement within the organization.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for various projects.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, ensuring cost-effectiveness and scalability.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and other tools.
• Build, deploy, and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor systems and applications, identifying and resolving performance issues proactively.
• Automate routine processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new features.
• Implement and maintain Elasticsearch for search and analytics use cases.
• Support backend development efforts using Golang for high-performance, scalable services.
• Conduct regular system backups, updates, and patch management to ensure data security and integrity.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in managing cloud-based infrastructure, especially on AWS.
• Hands-on experience with container technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Elasticsearch for data search, analysis, and visualization.
• Technical Expertise:
• Advanced knowledge of Golang for backend development.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Advanced knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in cybersecurity or security-focused environments.
• Familiarity with deploying AI-driven solutions.
• Exposure to iOS and Android app development and deployment.
• Strong understanding of performance optimization and security best practices.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools like Jira.
