Together with Hilltop Technologies LLC (HT) SET University created a cybersecurity tech startup with deep ties in the blockchain, tech, and government spaces. Our purpose is to serve higher education institutions, small to medium-sized enterprises, and entities who are disadvantaged in their ability to protect themselves from increasing security threats due to cost-prohibitive services and capabilities.

As a Technical Program Manager located in Ukraine, you will oversee and manage complex technical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage resources, and communicate project status to stakeholders. This role requires a strong technical background, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively in English. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our projects and ensuring alignment with our strategic goals. This position will be based in our Ukrainian office, with the possibility of remote work as needed.

Objectives of this Role

— Lead and manage technical projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet business goals and client expectations.
— Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
— Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
— Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
— Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. — Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
— Foster a culture of trust, diversity, and inclusion within the project teams.
— Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring their needs are met.

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

— Plan and oversee the technical aspects of project management, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
— Facilitate regular project meetings to track progress, address issues, and ensure alignment with project goals.
— Collaborate with technical teams to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.
— Conduct regular reviews with clients and stakeholders to provide project updates and gather feedback.
— Identify and resolve project issues promptly, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and deliverables.
— Manage project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project reviews.
— Provide regular reports and updates to the CTO and other senior leaders on project performance and strategic initiatives.
— Continuously improve project management processes and practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Skills and Qualifications

— Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
— Over 2 years of experience in technical program management, with a proven history of managing complex projects.
— Strong technical background with knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
— Demonstrable expertise in project management methodologies and tools.
— Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
— Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and inspire diverse teams.
— Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
— Ability to balance and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
— Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and innovate.
— Experience with industry-adopted frameworks and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
— Relevant industry certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or similar are highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

— Experience in the cybersecurity industry, particularly with a focus on serving higher education institutions and small to medium-sized enterprises.
— Proven ability to develop and execute technical strategies that drive project success.
— Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
— Demonstrated ability to deliver critical solutions within tight time frames, with multiple stakeholder groups, and competing priorities.
— Ability to evolve project management strategies based on research, data, business direction, and industry trends.
— Familiarity with Atlassian JIRA for project tracking and management.
