Lavo is in a migration phase where they moving towards ServerLess Computing using AWS Lambda functions, and is therefore looking for a Devops with knowledge of cloud service and AWS. The existing Java stack will be maintained by team in Norway.
Lavo back end runs on a hybrid cloud model designed for high availability and fault tolerance using different cloud providers and multiple data centers.
Lavo currently use a single Postgres instance for storage but this will change as our need for storage grows, and the back-end code is split up into micro services. All static assets are stored in a cloud object store.
Current application works in production (both for Android and iOS), but there will be a lot of new functionality applying and improving performance.
Current tech stack: Java, Spring Boot, Akka, Scala, jHipster, gradle, Kotlin, Heroku, AWS, RX-java, Spring Cloud, retrofit, junit, mockito, hamcrast, gatling, swagger, Hibernate, Postgres, etc.
