Requirements:
— 4+ years of commercial experience in Java (we will use the latest one), Spring Framework;
— JPA;
— MySQL / PostgreSQL;
— Microservice;
— Hosted on Google Cloud Engine;
— Docker locally;
— RabbitMQ;
— Intermediate+ English level, both written and oral;
— Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations;

Will be plus:
— Experience with travel-related tech / websites / advanced search functionality;
— App development experience;
— Perl;
— JavaScript/ jQuery/ React

Responsibilities:
— Taking the project from scoping requirements through actual launch of the project;
— Communication with users, other technical teams, and management in order to collect requirements, describe software product features and technical designs;

On behalf of our client BusinessClass.com we are looking for a sharp and inspired Java developer, who will be responsible for delivering high — demanded shopping experience for flights, hotels, and more.

Today the back-end applications are written in Perl (legacy) and Go. Migration of old features and new ones are planned in Java using Spring Boot. The architecture is partly microservice-based today, and we (you!) will migrate it to a fully based micro-service architecture on Java / Spring. The front-end is written in React JS.
