We are looking for an experienced
Affiliate Programme Manager (AWIN) ( Freelance / Part-Time)
We are a well-established company in England, founded in 2005.
SelectSpecs — About Us
SelectSpecs.com is an established UK ecommerce eyewear retailer looking for an experienced affiliate marketing specialist to take day-to-day ownership of our existing AWIN advertiser programme.
The AWIN account and technical integration are already established. We are now looking to rebuild and optimise the programme with much clearer operational ownership.
This is initially expected to be a 3–6 month recovery and optimisation project on a rolling monthly basis, with the possibility of continuing longer term if the programme demonstrates worthwhile results.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate would be expected to:
- review the existing/historic AWIN programme and publisher performance;
- identify and recruit appropriate publishers;
- manage publisher applications, communications and relationships;
- rebuild the publisher base selectively rather than simply maximising publisher numbers;
- manage and optimise commission structures;
- help differentiate new versus returning customer value;
- coordinate offers, campaigns, promotions and publisher opportunities;
- undertake routine AWIN programme administration;
- monitor transactions/performance and assist with validation processes;
- work with AWIN’s own support team;
- produce concise performance reporting;
- identify genuinely incremental affiliate revenue rather than simply attributed sales;
- recommend changes required to improve ROI and programme performance.
What we are looking for
Essential:
- demonstrable hands-on experience managing AWIN advertiser accounts;
- good understanding of affiliate publisher recruitment and management;
- experience working with ecommerce programmes;
- strong understanding of commission structures and affiliate economics;
- ability to work independently and take ownership rather than waiting for continual instruction;
Highly desirable:
- experience with UK ecommerce brands;
- experience analysing new versus returning customers;
- understanding of affiliate incrementality/attribution;
- experience with voucher, cashback, content, comparison and other publisher types;
- experience rebuilding or improving an underperforming affiliate programme.
Working arrangement
This is not a permanent full-time position initially.
We are looking for a flexible freelance/contract arrangement on a rolling monthly basis, initially allowing approximately 3–6 months to demonstrate measurable improvement.
An internal SelectSpecs contact will be available for approvals, assets, technical support and commercial decisions, but we expect the affiliate manager to take meaningful responsibility for keeping the programme moving.
Candidates should provide:
- proposed monthly/hourly fee;
- expected hours required each week/month;
- earliest start date;
- examples of AWIN programmes previously managed;
- measurable results where available;
- references or other evidence of relevant experience.
Must Have
- Excellent communication skills and strong command of the English language.
What We Offer
- The opportunity to work with an interesting and well-established European company;
- A professional, creative, and structured environment;
- Remote work (part time, )
- Clear strategic focus and management support.
- Probationary period — 3 months;
- Discounts on glasses and lenses for employees.
