We are looking for an experienced SEO and AI search specialist (Senior/Lead) to support a large ecommerce eyewear website through the next stage of organic search, AI search, and agentic commerce development.

Key Responsibilities
- Technical SEO: Monitor and diagnose Search Console issues, review indexing/crawlability, and ensure stable schema implementation (Product, Category, FAQ, etc.) independent of fragile client-side injection.
- Ecommerce Optimisation: Review category-page performance, internal linking, taxonomy, and site search; optimise PDPs and collection pages to support search growth.
- AI Search Strategy: Monitor visibility in AI-generated answers, track citations, and recommend technical/content changes to improve AI retrievability.
- Agentic Commerce: Audit the website for AI agents (navigability, product interpretation, trust signals); advise on UCP (Universal Commerce Protocol) readiness.
- Merchant Center & Feeds: Ensure compliance and commercial effectiveness of product feeds; advise on data quality and attributes.
- Content & PR: Review content for commercial value, manage cleanup strategies for the blog, and advise on Digital PR priorities to boost authority.
- Reporting: Maintain structured weekly/monthly/quarterly reports, roadmaps, and clear ownership of dashboards and data exports.
Requirements
- Strong technical SEO experience, particularly in ecommerce.
- Expertise in Google Search Console, Schema.org, and structured data.
- Experience working with developers in JavaScript rendering/SSR/Nuxt-style environments.
- Proficiency in Merchant Center and product feed management.
- Ability to produce clear, Jira-ready recommendations and concise management reports.
- Commercial judgement and strong written communication skills.
Good Understanding of:
- Content strategy and site architecture;
- Technical implications of site migration or template changes;
- The intersection of traditional SEO and AI-search visibility;
- Ecommerce customer behaviour and faceted navigation.
Must Have
- Practical experience in “hands-on” SEO;
- Proven ability to identify issues, explain commercial relevance, create tickets, and confirm fixes.
- Excellent communication skills and strong command of the English language.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI visibility tracking tools (e.g., InLinks);
- Understanding of Google UCP or agentic commerce developments;
- Affiliate (AWIN) / Digital PR experience;
- Experience in the eyewear, fashion, or healthcare sectors.
