About the Role
We are looking for a Motion-Driven UI Designer to join our team and shape the visual and interactive experience of a large-scale design system used across web, mobile, and TV platforms for a high-profile international sports broadcasting project.
This role is ideal for designers who think beyond static screens — who design systems in motion, craft meaningful interactions, and bring digital products to life through animation, dynamics, and spatial thinking. Motion and interaction are not secondary — they are core to this role.
What You’ll Do
- Design UI components and scalable patterns for a cross-platform design system (web, mobile, TV).
- Define and implement motion and interaction principles as a foundational layer of the design system.
- Create dynamic behaviors: transitions, states, micro-interactions, focus logic, spatial movement, and responsive feedback.
- Develop interactive prototypes and motion explorations to communicate timing, rhythm, hierarchy, and emotional impact.
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure high-quality motion implementation.
- Contribute to documentation that clearly articulates motion logic, interaction flows, and animation systems.
- Explore spatial and dimensional concepts (including 3D when relevant) to elevate broadcast and large-screen experiences.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong portfolio showcasing UI design with a clear emphasis on motion and interaction.
- Proven expertise in animation systems, micro-interactions, and interactive prototyping.
- Ability to design behaviors, not just interfaces — thinking in states, flows, and transitions.
- Experience working across multiple platforms (mobile, responsive web, TV/large screens preferred).
- Understanding of how motion enhances usability, storytelling, and brand expression.
- Experience contributing to or building design systems.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Comfortable working within Madrid time zone hours.
Nice to Have
- Experience with sports, live events, or broadcast interfaces.
- Proficiency in motion tools (After Effects, Principle, Figma Smart Animate, Lottie, etc.).
- Experience with 3D design or motion in 3D environments (Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar).
- Understanding of spatial UI, depth, lighting, and dimensional transitions.
