About the project

Timeline of cooperation: 6 months with high possibility of prolongation.
Working hours: approximately from 9-10 am Kyiv time.

Role Overview

The Backend Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems to power the firm’s fintech infrastructure. The role involves building APIs, managing databases, and deploying cloud-native applications, with a hands-on approach to development and experimentation.

Expectations

• 5+ years of commercial experience with .NET / C# development.
• Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC / .NET Core.
• Proven hands-on experience with Umbraco or Kentico CMS.
• Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases.
  Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platforms is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of software design patterns, OOP principles, and best coding practices.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher — ability to communicate directly with international clients.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain .NET-based web applications and CMS solutions (Umbraco or Kentico).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Optimize application performance and ensure high scalability and security.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs when needed.
