Middle Project Manager/Business Analyst (contract, part time) (вакансія неактивна)

We are looking for a Middle Project Manager with business analysis skills to join an interesting project!

Please, note that this position is a contract-based cooperation and for part time only (40h/month).

It’s important to mention that the social package, including benefits like sick leave, days off, vacations, public holidays, accounting and necessary equipment provision, is not covered by Selecto.

About the project

Project: in Fintech industry; it’s an ecosystem of fintech platforms from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the client has different fintech solutions for freelancers, businesses and restaurants to control, accept and transfer payments.

Team: Designer, Design Director, developers, Account Manager

Timeline: till March 2026, part time (40 hours/month), working hours will be discussed additionally.

Responsibilities

Project Management:

• Facilitate and lead external meetings, keeping discussions aligned with the agenda and ensuring actionable outcomes.
• Manage client-side Jira workspace: task creation, writing clear acceptance criteria, and coordinating across teams.
• Handle stakeholder management: align expectations, resolve conflicts, and ensure transparent communication.
• Oversee document management systems to ensure up-to-date, organized project documentation.
• Proactively identify and present new opportunities for continued collaboration and value delivery.

Business Analysis:

• Analyze and document functional requirements, including feature logic, validation rules, calculations, and error handling.
• Elicit and manage non-functional requirements (usability, scalability, security, performance).
• Collaborate with the client to prioritize features and translate them into clear, actionable tasks for the design and development teams.

Potential responsibilities (if there is such an opportunity on the project):

• Define MVP scope and priorities based on business goals, constraints, and dependencies.
• Facilitate goals and need discovery sessions to identify business objectives and pain points.

Required skills

Core Skills:

• Project management capabilities: timeline tracking, task prioritization, and risk mitigation.
• Experience working with agile development teams, including Kanban, and iterative delivery cycles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Upper-Intermediate or higher).
• Solid stakeholder management and conflict resolution abilities.
• Ability to create and manage BA documentation: use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and feature matrices.
• Strong understanding of business analysis frameworks (BABOK, Agile BA, etc.).
  
  

Technical & Tool Proficiency:

• Jira — project/task tracking, backlog grooming.
• Figma — reviewing UI/UX designs and providing functional feedback.
• Confluence / Google Workspace — documentation and knowledge base management.
• Requirements mapping tools — such as Miro.

Nice-to-have:

• Previous experience of conducting the Discovery phase and participation in MVP projects.
• Understanding of API integrations, payment gateways, and financial data flows is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and security standards in fintech (e.g., KYC/AML, PCI DSS).
• Experience working with payment processing platforms, wallets, or POS integrations is a plus.
• Previous experience in the fintech industry.
