Full Stack Engineer for AI-Powered Web App

What is the purpose of this position?

We are looking for an enthusiastic Middle/Senior Full Stack Engineer to oversee the development of an AI-powered web application. The application is a freemium AI-Essay Checker offering instant assessment, feedback, and personalized recommendations. Although the application currently exists in beta, it requires a series of improvements and additional features for full release. After the full release, we plan to expand into more use cases and features.

Location: Remote, ready to coordinate with US time zone

Technical qualification you`ll need to bring:

• Database: Postgres
• Front-end: Next.js + React + MUI
• Back-end: Node.js, Nest.js
• Authentication: Next-auth for authentication
• Deployment: AWS
• Repository: Git

In this role you will be in charge of:

• Development of new modules
• Refactoring/extending existing functionality
• Writing unit/integration tests
• Setup task runners and build tools
• Collaboration with a team and PO
