Senior Python Developer (вакансія неактивна)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer to join a brand-new product for a large, well-established German organization. This is a greenfield initiative to move critical business processes to the cloud and create a Shipment Cloud that connects existing company customers with shipment providers worldwide.

Think of it as a fully cloud-based logistics platform—scalable, reliable, and designed from the ground up.

What you’ll do

• Play a key role in architecting and implementing a new cloud-native shipment platform.
• Take part in the end-to-end development lifecycle: from design to deployment.
• Mentor and guide other engineers in Python best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration with global shipment providers.
• Work on scalable backend services and contribute to front-end/API interactions.

What we’re looking for

• Must-have experience: 5+ years of Python development (with strong focus on backend and architecture).
• Proven track record of architecting and delivering end-to-end solutions.
• Experience teaching/mentoring other engineers in Python.
• Solid experience with Django, PostgreSQL, Redis.
• Working knowledge of Node.js, React, and TypeScript.

Nice-to-haves:

• Cloud platforms (especially Azure).
• Task queues (Celery).
• Container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Infrastructure as code (Terraform).

Interview process

We keep it simple and transparent:

Intro call — a 30-minute discussion about the role, your background, and expectations.

Technical assignment — you’ll be asked to build an extension of an open-source platform. After submission, we’ll review your code and have a follow-up discussion.
