On behalf of PokerStars (Flutter), SD Solutions is looking for a talented C++ Software Engineer to join our busy and dynamic team based in Toronto Office.

We need you because:
You will be playing an integral part in our company’s product development process. You will design, develop, test, and maintain application back-end components and frameworks deployed on an infrastructure. You will be involved in all aspects of software development and delivery, such as attending project kick-off, design and review meetings, working closely with business analysis and design teams, and transforming approved requirements into reliable, secure, and reusable software. You will monitor software development stages to identify and correct implementation errors to meet business requirements and deliver quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze the existing designs and understand their implementations.
- Read and understand C++ code.
- Develop new components to expand player account management internal systems.
- Establish and implement testing procedures for existing and new data-heavy features.
- Build and maintain the tools that perform functional, integration, load, and stress tests.
- Create environments, changing Flutter Infrastructure.
Requirements:
- 7 years of experience in C++ server development.
- Understanding of any scripting language (JavaScript, Python, bash, etc).
- XML/JSON and [proprietary] binary protocols.
- SQL.
- Real-time data streaming.
- Event-based state machines.
- Strong communication skills, and excellent English.
- Superb attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a highly flexible remote environment.
