We are looking for an experienced Automation QA engineer to develop and execute automated tests to ensure product quality.
QA engineer responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defects counts.)
Project is a GV-backend, restaurant-tech company, providing restaurant brands the resources and technology to optimize their off-premise dining operations.
— Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and checklists
— Design, develop and execute automation scripts
— Setup and customize test runners for use in CI/CD and internal physical device test lab
— Perform thorough regression testing
— Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
— Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
— Monitor debugging process results
— Must have 3+ years experience with web and mobile application testing;
— Strong knowledge of TypeScript, JS, Cypress
— Understanding of software test automation design patterns and software testing principles and methodologies.
— Experience with source version control software and package managers (Git, NPM)
— Deep knowledge in software testing methodologies, tools, and practices
— Experience with developing and visualization test results and test metrics
— Upper-Intermediate English
Will be a plus:
— Node.js, Angular/Ionic, and Test Rail testing frameworks
— Experience with Android application testing tools (Appium or Espresso)
— Experience working with and testing API / Restful services
— Experience with performance and security testing
— Comfortable working as an individual contributor
— Experience with Continuous Integration environments (GitHub Actions / Jenkins / TeamCity / CircleCI / Heroku)
