We are seeking a talented Junior Full-Stack PHP and WordPress Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining custom WordPress themes and plugins, as well as developing and integrating PHP-based web applications. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality web solutions.

We are working with a music software company that specializes in developing virtual instruments and software synthesizers and selling them from their e-store. They are known for creating high-quality and innovative virtual instruments that emulate classic analog synthesizers and other vintage electronic musical instruments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient PHP code.
• Integrate front-end and back-end aspects of web applications.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality web solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress and PHP applications.
• Optimize websites for performance and SEO.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure best practices.
• Be a proactive team member who is willing to learn and help others.
• Suggest & implement web-based solutions for business needs
• Show enthusiasm for your job!

Skills and Qualifications

• 2+ years professional engineering experience
• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer.
• Experience with WordPress and/or WooCommerce
• Experience with raw PHP coding (without frameworks, legacy code)
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, etc.).
• Experience with MySQL databases and writing efficient SQL queries.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong Git and GitHub skills
• Understanding of RESTful APIs
• Writing testable code
• Using an issue tracker as a means of communications
• Intermediate level of English or above (verbal and written)
• Strong communication skills (ask questions, propose solutions, teamwork!
