3+ years on QA Lead position
Solid understanding of client-server architecture and networking concepts.
Advanced knowledge of testing approaches, techniques and methodologies
Practical experience in test design and exploratory testing
Experience with Tools — Charles/Fiddler, TestRail, Jira
Good SQL and Linux skills
Experience in API testing
Strong knowledge of concepts, activities and deliverables in software testing
Understanding of Continuous Integration principles
Good understanding of networking protocols and methods
Good analytical skills and attention to detail

English Intermediate and higher

Ensuring the team members implement and follow best QA practices to prevent defects
Do systematic reporting on quality status, risks, plans & performed work based on formal metrics and measurements
Guide the team overall on building automation coverage for the product suite, providing strategy time correlation between manual test coverage and writing automation.
Test planning and estimation of QA activities
Monitoring, identifying, escalating and removing obstacles that might endanger the agreed release date
Carrying out root cause analysis of defects to ensure fixes are implemented correctly;
Functional and non-functional testing of Web application
Writing, executing and review of test scenarios
Analyze requirements for new functionality, ensure their quality and testability
Gather metrics, create reports, follow the general Test Strategy and continuously improve testing processes;

By joining our team, you’ll face the challenges and tradeoffs of building a highly reliable production system composed of modern microservices and the previous monolithic approach. The principal stack is Python, MySQL, RabbitMQ, Docker, and many python libraries for different problem domains: cloud, networking, data, concurrency, parsers, etc.
Terraform provisions and manages the lifecycle of infrastructure. Scalr builds a management layer on top of Terraform, which helps DevOps scale to their entire organization.
