As a member of our team, you will be involved in the design, development, and optimization of software systems and architectures for AI-based image/video processing and text recognition solutions for Samsung devices and platforms. Your responsibilities will include all aspects of software design, prototyping, implementation, performance optimization. You will be a key member of our team of experts in machine learning and SW development that delivers high-impact AI-based features for millions of users of the world’s most advanced Samsung devices.

Job Description / Responsibilities:

• Development and optimization of AI solutions in image processing, computer vision and time-series analysis domains
• Design and development of platform-independent C++ applications

Key qualifications:

• BS/MS/Ph.D. in Computer Science/ SW Engineering or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• 5+ years of professional experience in commercial software S/W development as a Sr. Software Engineer
• Deep knowledge of C / C++
• Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and software design principles
• Passion for quality and writing clean, solid, readable code that scales and performs well
• Strong mentoring skills for providing support and constructive code review
• Strong knowledge of the entire software stack and ability to rapidly create prototypes
• Strong ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve the issue
• Familiarity with the development of multithreaded applications
• Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and adjust to rapidly changing environment
• Good written and spoken English

As a plus:

• Cross-platform development skills
• Experience with ML/AI
