Our Art team (Room 8 Studio) is made up of hundreds of the best artists in gaming. They provide concept art, characters, environments, UI and UX, 2D and 3D, and everything in between. With experience on franchises like Call of Duty, Overwatch, Diablo, and dozens more, our artwork is known for its quality, whatever the visual style.

Through primarily organic growth, we are proudly independent, now home to around 1,100 creatives based in Europe, North America, and South America.

Next great challenge is coming:

We are looking for experienced and highly skilled 3D Character Artists who are striving to make stylized characters and work on the best game projects and are not afraid to challenge their skills.

Superpowers you have:

• High-poly sculpt in Zbrush;
• SubD modeling in Max / Maya;
• Character topology for animation;
• Strong knowledge of anatomy;
• Ability to create UV mapping and texture baking (normal, AO, etc.);
• Texturing in Substance Painter and/or hand-painted texturing;
• Good understanding of modern pipelines and requirements for stylized character creation;
• Ability to follow and correctly interpret/improve the concept idea;
• Relevant portfolio with examples of works in the corresponding direction;
• Teamwork skills.

You’re a rockstar if you have:

• Work experience with game engines;
• Drawing skills;
• Good understanding of the rigging and animation process;
• Intermediate English level and above

• Create optimal UV mapping and texture baking (normal, AO, etc.);
• Work with stylized texturing.
