The Room 8 Studio team is looking for the ideal candidate for the position of Character Concept Artist. For us, the priority is a structured approach to design, experience in the gaming industry, amazing portfolio and team player skills.

Responsibilities:

Creation of the character concepts: from sketches to final rendering;

Participation in the development of a visual style of the project;

Team work on the project together with PM, 3D artists and animators;

Optimization of the pipeline, participation in the estimations calculation.

Requirements:

Experience in the gaming industry at the position of character artist;

Excellent knowledge of Adobe Photoshop;

Knowledge of anatomy, a sense of harmony in tone and color, understanding of form, a developed sense of style, design aesthetics;

Understanding the pipelines for developing a concept for 3D;

Ability to withstand the given style and adherence to the technical assignment;

Ability to work in a team and have a responsible attitude to deadlines.

Will be a huge plus:

Knowledge of 3D packages and the ability to create a base for overpainting;

Intermediate level of English or higher;

Love for games, cinema and animation.
