Position Overview:
We are seeking a Data Analyst (Game Titles) to join our Market Research and Analysis team within the Marketing department. In this role, you will be responsible for managing game titles’ data, discovering knowledge, generating insights, and ensuring flow across multiple departments and internal IT systems. Your achievements will drive our business development and sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market & Client intelligence: Lead comprehensive research and analysis of our clients and prospects, including game titles, competitors, genres, mechanics, and market opportunities
- Data management: Collaborate with Data Engineers and peer teams to define data collection processes, maintain data quality standards, and specify requirements for data processing and validation solutions
- Game Title research: Create detailed profiles of game titles, including player reviews, ratings, revenue performance, and significant industry events based on programmatically collected data, as well as individual research
- Solutions Mapping: Identify solutions matching game titles with relevant characteristics, ensuring accurate alignment with our service capabilities
- Reporting & Visualization: Build and maintain interactive dashboards to provide real-time insights and facilitate data-driven decision making
- Cross-functional collaboration and Strategic support: Work closely with and provide actionable intelligence to the solutions, production, marketing, and sales teams, to enhance data quality and operational efficiency
Required Qualifications:
Industry Expertise:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Market Analyst or Data Analyst in gaming or interactive entertainment
- Background in game or product analytics
- Understanding of games ecosystem, taxonomy, trends, metrics, and success factors
- Proven track record of delivering actionable insights that drive business results
Technical Skills:
- Excellent SQL proficiency for complex data analysis
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Experience with predictive modeling will be a plus
- Strong Python or similar programming skills for data manipulation and analysis will be a plus
- Experience with AI-automation will be a plus
- Experience with gaming analytics platforms and tools will be a plus
