Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and open-minded QA Engineer familiar with embedded systems testing. You will be responsible for validation of firmware, taking care of testing sets creation, gathering data and reporting issues.

Qualifications and Skills

1.5 + years of experience in manual testing
Experience in testing of embedded systems
Knowledge of testing methodologies
Experience in UNIX/Linux
Understanding of network principles
Understanding of embedded systems principles
Experience with bug tracking systems
Experience in writing test documentation
Good written and spoken English

Nice to have

Experience debugging hardware and firmware
Python basic knowledge
Experience with 802.11 protocols
Experience with low-powered systems
Experience with audio/video data streaming
Familiarity with SQL databases and elastic search
The ability to root-cause failures across software, firmware, and hardware
