Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Windows Developer who possesses a passion for pushing technologies to the limits and will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our application.
A Windows Developer will help architect and implement the Ring Windows App in Visual Studio 2017, including working with Windows and other low-level Windows APIs.

Responsibilities and Duties

— Design and build advanced applications for the Windows platform
— Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
— Work with outside data sources and API’s
— Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
— Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies

Qualifications and Skills

— BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
— Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
— Architectural thinking
— Understanding of UX and Design Patterns
— Proven software development experience and Windows skills development
— Experience with typically Windows frameworks for UI, Networking, Databases
— Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
— Understanding of Agile methodologies
— Experience with Jira, Confluence
— English communication skills (speak, read, write)
— Must have extensive C# experience, including a strong command of XAML
— Advanced knowledge of UWP APIs like Push Notifications, adaptive layouts, etc
— Experience building, shipping, and maintaining user-facing Windows Store Apps
— Experience building multi-language UWP apps
— Experience with streaming, working with audio/video, and line phone is desired, but not required
— Passion for delivering a seamless user experience and a keen eye for details
— Desire to live the disruptive Start-Up life: Rapid releases, quick decisions, lots of autonomy
— Familiarity with agile development process
— Familiarity with modern cloud and web architecture
— You must be able to communicate in English (Read, Write, Speak)
— Linphone experience is a must
