Sensor Research Engineer (вакансія неактивна)

Job Summary

As a Research Engineer, you’ll be involved in all stages of R&D including problem definition, ML systems design, model training, and hardware prototyping. You will take part in the algorithm’s path from idea inception to hardware prototyping, implementation, and production. You will use a combination of engineering discipline and the scientific method to develop and improve sensors in upcoming Ring products.

Qualifications and Skills

— 3+ years experience in research or data analysis
— Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Applied Mathematics/Physics
— Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals, algorithms and data structures
— Experience with Python and knowledge of scientific computation libraries such as numpy, scikit-learn, pandas and scipy
— Good understanding of machine learning and data analysis concepts
— Good written and spoken English

Nice to have

— Experience in one or many Artificial Intelligence tasks: classification, detection, recognition, segmentation, decision making, etc
— Experience with C/C++ and knowledge of commonly used libraries such as STL and boost
— Experience with Matlab/R/any other data analysis tools
— Good understanding of physics and math
— Experience with Digital Signal Processing
— Be familiar with CLI, Linux, Bash
— Hands-on experience with hardware and prototyping (sensors, RPi, Arduino, etc.)
— AWS, Docker, Kubernetes
