WHAT WE NEED:

We are looking for a hands-on card operation & settlement analyst who takes responsibility for design, delivery and post-delivery back-office processes of the digital banking platform.

In this role you will work closely with operation, delivery and product teams, coordinate with stakeholders and third-party vendors in order to design, operate and improve card-related operation processes. As a Card operation & settlement analyst you will be responsible for:

• Analyzing the manual Card back-office processes which should be automated.
• Analyzing and documenting requirements for Card products.
• Participating in implementation of new Card products.
• Writing use cases, defining test scope and performing end-to-end from the Card Operation perspective.
• Managing daily settlement reconciliation and daily wires, preparing and posting settlement entries on the early stage of the project.
• Supporting on the regulator reports of card scheme, card scheme invoices, dispute resolution on the early stage of the project.

This is a client-facing role: the candidate must have a sound understanding of accounting model, card operation and processing rules/processes and network schemes (VISA, MasterCard) but also good communication skill.

WILL BE A PLUS:

• Experience in fintech domain
• At least 5+ years experience in Card operation area
• At least 2+ years of technical experience
• Deep analytical skills
• Fluent English

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience with European accounting models and markets

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work closely with Delivery, Business and Operation teams to roll out new products/procedures.
• Work closely with Operation team to support/manage daily settlement, reconciliation and daily wires, preparing and posting settlement entries on the early stage of the project.
• Manage Card Products during implementation and in post-implementation period closely with Card Operation team but as part of Delivery team
• Design and document card back-office processes that covers both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Analyze and identify risks and find ways to mitigate them
• Provide in-depth decision analysis if needed
