Reface is hiring ML Engineer

You’ll work with an entire cycle of ML project development, from searching and preparing datasets through creating deep learning models to preparing packages for deployment.

Workflow:

• the team consists of 9 ML Engineers (Middle+ & Senior), we prefer not to use titles though
• we use working processes: there are no scrum masters, so the team decides how to work and what technologies to choose
• no micromanagement: we have no time or desire for this
• unlimited vacation time: we trust each other
• we work remotely and smart, instead of 9 to 5

Reface has a wide area of CV challenges. It includes but is not limited to the following:

• image/video synthesis based on recent technologies (GAN, StableDiffusion)
• image/video instance segmentation and object detection
• image reenactment
• instance/anchor tracking, optical flow estimation
• image/video harmonization
• model performance optimization (pruning, distillation, quantization)
• audio-driven CV technologies

What will you do:

• iterate on many solutions and turn research code into easy-to-use demos for non-technical people
• implement both well-studied ML solutions and brand-new architectures from scratch
• evaluate your solutions using both ML metrics and product metrics
• deliver the model in a form that can be easily deployed and maintained, documenting its interfaces
• depending on the complexity of the task, work independently or in a team of engineers

You have:

• strong programming skills in Python and experience with popular ML libraries such as PyTorch, OpenCV, etc
• at least 2 years of commercial experience in deep learning and computer vision
• understanding of machine learning algorithms, regularization, and data preprocessing techniques
• experience with containerization and deployment technologies such as Docker
• familiarity with software engineering principles such as version control, code review, testing, and debugging
• strong communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and related technologies
• sufficient level of written English to explain complex things simply
