We are looking for a person who is able to set up and build the test infrastructure as well as clarify the requirements and build fast and reliable tests.

About Day.io

Day.io, Brazilian Time & Attendance startup which recently became an international company. Our system helps to make sure that employees are following the assigned schedule and to track their time when they work out of the office.

Our team has been building the technical part of this product from the very beginning. Currently we have customers with international operations and with more than 40K employees.

We are looking for a mature, challenge-driven engineer to reinforce our team in Lviv and help us build a high-quality product. The project itself is fast-growing and dynamic and affects the salaries of thousands of people across the globe.

At the moment we have a huge internal web API, integration API with the customers, integration with the biometric devices, 4 mobile apps, super admin, and user admin. We are working on improving the stability and reliability, so your job will probably involve interaction within all these components.

Requirements

Must have

• 4+ years of experience as an Automation Test Engineer
• Tester mindset
• CI/CD experience
• Solid SDLC understanding, agile product mindset
• Knowledge of how automation test frameworks are organized, prioritized, and managed
• Solid programming skills with python
• Experience with selenium, allure, docker, Jenkins
• API (curl, postman, graphql, python-requests)
• SQL (know the difference between left and inner join and when to use them)
• Good written and spoken English

Nice to have

• Experience with automated testing of native mobile apps
• Experience in scripting, docker, load testing, Google Cloud Platform

Responsibilities

• Setup and improve the testing infrastructure with the help of our DevOps
• Prioritize, define and develop test suites according to project priorities and goals
• Make automation tests suite an easy to use tool for the whole team to benefit
• Actively interact with the team, be in the context
