As part of our expansion, we are looking for a senior QA Automation Engineer to join our RnD team. Our product — mobile and web application for quality control and safety at construction. Very cool traction, we achieved leading position on Israel market and raised $11 mln Round A for US expansion.

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automated testing, with a focus on end-to-end (E2E) testing for both mobile and web applications. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for E2E testing. You will work closely with our development and QA teams to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright and Maestro.
• Collaborate with software developers and QA engineers to understand product requirements and design comprehensive test suites.
• Execute automated test scripts to identify software defects and track issues through resolution.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks to support continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Conduct code review of tests, written by developers to make sure they match test plans and code quality standards
• Analyse test results and provide feedback to stakeholders on product quality and performance.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in QA automation and incorporate them into our testing processes.
• Document test procedures, test cases, and test results to ensure traceability and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (3 years) in automated testing, with a focus on E2E testing for both mobile and web applications.
• Strong proficiency in test automation frameworks for web and mobile applications such as Playwright, Maestro, Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Detox (at least one of mentioned).
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Self-motivated with a passion for learning and continuous improvement.
