Treasury manager will assume responsibility for cash flow management, requiring a higher level of senior expertise than presently available.
Moving these duties to the New Hire will allow the Head of Finance, who oversees all treasury matters, to dedicate more time to strategic initiatives within the finance domain.
Additionally, this role will address unmanaged areas, such as FOREX management, cash flow planning, and cash polling.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Develop and implement comprehensive treasury policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective management of the Group’s cash flow and risk exposure.
- Effectively manage cash positions across the Group, optimizing balances through cash pooling to support evolving business needs.
- Oversee daily cash management activities, encompassing cash positioning, forecasting, and reporting, to maintain a proactive approach to liquidity management.
- Execute and manage forex hedging strategies to mitigate the Group’s exposure to currency risks.
- Identify and assess opportunities for process improvement and automation within the Treasury function, with a specific focus on:
— Streamlining the invoice approval/payment process in MSD
— Implementing automatic bank statement uploading and allocation in MSD, leveraging Client bank capabilities where possible
- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of all cash transactions, including payments, collections, and intercompany transfers.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with banks, brokers, and other financial institutions to ensure efficient collaboration and optimal financial services.
- Actively participate in ad-hoc financial projects as required, contributing to the ongoing improvement and advancement of the Group’s financial processes.
