Scanner Pro is Readdle’s powerful scanning app for iPhone and iPad. It’s awarded “The Editors’ Choice” by Apple and has 10M downloads worldwide. Customers love the app for its ease of use and amazing scan quality. Scanner Pro created the whole category of digitizing paper on mobile back in 2009 and keeps innovating here, here, and here.

The Scanner Pro team is seeking a talented iOS Engineering Manager to lead our development team.


  • Lead and manage Scanner Pro’s iOS development team
  • Work with Product and Customer-facing teams to design, develop and ship great products on time and according to the roadmap
  • Mentor engineers, conduct performance reviews, 1:1 meetings, and other activities to provide guidance on coding and best practices
  • Create and maintain processes (e.g. planning, grooming, retro, etc.) that will improve the engineering’s and overall team’s performance

About you:

  • 4+ years in iOS development, 2+ years in leading engineering initiatives
  • A track record of leading teams, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with both technical and business partners
  • Ability to resolve critical situations and make the right trade-offs by dealing with uncertainty, complexity, and conflicting priorities
  • A strong grasp on creating and maintaining processes to help the team succeed in achieving their goals
  • Experience managing teams in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Demonstrated technical strengths in Swift, Objective-C. Software development: separations of concerns, SOLID, OOP patterns, concurrency patterns. Best practices: unit testing, static analysis, code review, dependency management
