We are expanding the team and looking for an associate system administrator to support company growth and IT operations. You will be working with Readdle’s system administrator on a day-to-day basis to make our systems stable and users happy.

Responsibilities:
— Assist with onboarding and off-boarding of users
— Manage accounts, access, and authentication to systems and equipment
— Install, update, and troubleshoot systems and servers.
— Monitor system hardware availability, functionality, and health.
— Conduct periodic system maintenance, organization, and cleaning (physical and electronic)
— Talk staff through a series of actions, either face-to-face or online to help set up systems or resolve issues
— Accurately update equipment status in the corporate asset management system
— Take part in the patch management process for networking hardware (router, switches, access points, etc) and servers (build servers, NAS, video monitoring, etc)

Requirements:
— Experience as a System Administrator
— Ability to follow directions and problem solve fundamental IT related issues
— Knowledge of computer’s hardware and software architecture
— Linux: experience with setting up, administration, using the command line, editing config files, ssh, cron, systems, etc
— macOS: setting up, troubleshooting, basic administration
— Windows: setting up, troubleshooting, and basic administration
— Knowledge and experience of network administration: data cabling, using passive and active network equipment, understanding TCP/IP protocol, routing, and switching, wireless networking
— Experience with any monitoring solution
— Decent English language level

Would be a plus:
— Experience with Mikrotik networking equipment
— Ability to use scripting languages for task automation
— Administration of CI/CD solutions, preferably Jenkins
— Experience with any enterprise-level Wi-Fi solutions (Aruba, Cisco, Miraki, Ruckus, Unifi, etc)
— Experience with specific solutions for video surveillance, NAS, etc
— Experience with Cloud Computing, Ansible / Chef / Puppet, Docker, KVM, SMB/NFS/MySQL administration
