Rapida’s aim is to eventually supplant the human processes in structural health assessment and monitoring. Rapida’s technological environment comprises proprietary algorithms in computer vision, computational geometry, AI, and civil engineering — all integrated into a single multi-level cloud-based platform providing customers with a comprehensive structural health assessment, monitoring, and predictive maintenance solution.
Responsibilities:
- Leading research activities to develop new ML / CV algorithms and approaches
- Leading and supervision of 1-3 junior / middle level engineers
- Implementing new functionality and algorithms in Python / C++, using various frameworks and libraries, following the specified APIs for code integration with other modules
- Developing architecture of CV / ML modules of Company products
- Contributing to Proof-of-Concepts and demo applications
- Delivering Production Level Solutions
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in computer vision algorithms
- 3+ years in neural networks implementation, training and debugging experience
- Solid mathematical background and skills
- Familiarity with modern trends and latest achievements in the field
- Solid programming skills (Python or C++) and knowledge of standard algorithm structures and data structures is a must
- Ability to quickly read a scientific paper and understand the main ideas and results
- Practical experience in deep-learning-based approaches for image processing or computervision
- Good communication, writing and presentation skills in English
