You will join a Platform team:

Platform team committed to delivering reliable platform services for customers who are: developers, devops, QA. We’re tech heart of Raiffeisen Ukraine and everybody expects that heat is operating normally :)

Our challenges for 2022 are:

• Huge Lift&Shift infrastructure migration to public cloud provider: 99.9% IAC is a MUST
• Reinvent CI/CD flow based on github (self-hosted) actions:

1. Environment by click
2. GitOps ( ArgoCD & Argo rollouts)
3. Canary/AB/Blue-green deployments

• Cloud Native Disaster recovery for platform and business services
• Observability & Reliability:

1. Chaos engineering
2. Predictive indicators
3. Incident-management on steroids: futomated communication with stakeholders, incident-response based on infrastructure indicators, well-grained SLOs (Service Level Objectives), maintain error budget

• Develop antifragile platform based on cutting edge technologies:

1. Self-service is the second important feature after reliability
2. Develop service provisioner based on CRD

• New product for production readiness evaluation across platform (Like “well architected framework”," production readiness checklist“)

In Project “Codename”, our target stack is the following:

• OS: Linux (RHEL based)
• Orchestration: Kubernetes
• Development stack: Java based microservices (Spring boot and not only)
• Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, EFK, Opsgenie, Jaeger
• CI/CD: GitHub & ArgoCD ( but it’s target now it’s Jenkins)
• IaC and Config management: Ansible, Terraform
• Message broker: Kafka
• Database: Postgres
• NoSQL: MongoDB
• Cache: Redis
• Secret store: Vault

Preferred qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience on DevOps role with production-grade systems
• Proficient in Linux administration and configuration
• Network understanding: TCP/IP, DNS, Load-balancers, PKI (TLS), network security, etc.
• Deep knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS is preferable)
• Good knowledge of private clouds (vSphere is preferable)
• Good Linux system internals and shell scripting
• Proficient in container-based technologies and orchestration (K8s)
• Excellent practical experience in using IaC tools and configuration management tools
• Experience with Kafka
• Experience with supporting SQL/NoSQL databases
• Deep understanding of version control systems principles and configuration best practices
• Knowledge how to measure site reliability
• Strong level of soft skills
• Upper-intermediate+ English
