Position Overview

We are looking for an accomplished CTO/Head of Engineering with a hands-on approach, strong technical acumen, and proven leadership skills to support Radity’s growth. In this role, you will work closely with the executive team, driving engineering initiatives that align with our business goals and foster an innovative, high-performance culture. This position balances approximately 40% hands-on development with 60% leadership and management responsibilities, making it ideal for a technology leader who enjoys contributing directly to code while steering strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse engineering team to deliver robust, scalable, and innovative cloud-based software solutions.
• Actively contribute to coding, architecture design, and code reviews, dedicating around 40% of your time to hands-on development.
• Oversee the development and implementation of best practices in software development, DevOps, and project management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of technology across projects.
• Drive strategic technical decisions and ensure that technology investments align with Radity’s business objectives.
• Present and negotiate complex technical concepts with clients and partners, supporting business development and project success.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, fostering continuous improvement and the adoption of new technologies within the team.
• Manage technology budgets efficiently, prioritizing resources for maximum impact.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering, with proven management and leadership experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in software engineering, including deep expertise in TypeScript.
• Proficiency in at least one additional programming language, such as Python, C#, or Java.
• Solid experience with monitoring and infrastructure tools, DevOps practices, and cloud-based environments.
• Demonstrated success in building and scaling high-performing technical teams.
• Excellent English skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive, problem-solving mindset and strong attention to detail.
• Engineering mindset or background, with a commitment to technical excellence, clean code principles, and scalable design patterns.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
