Must have skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English (Upper-Intermediate level or higher)
- Location: Kyiv, Vyshhorod, Stari Petrivtsi, Novi Petrivtsi, and other nearby settlements
- 3+ years of manual testing experience, preferably in both hardware and software systems
- Familiarity with integrated system testing (hardware and software), especially in environments that require rigorous physical testing such as flight systems
- Ability to accurately follow and execute test plans and scenarios, ensuring that all procedures are followed as designed
- Ability to work effectively with pilots and other team members on-site, and maintain clear communication with engineers and developers
- Strong experience in recording test results, documenting issues, and reporting bugs using standard QA tools and methods
- Capable of thinking critically and suggesting improvements to test strategies based on real-time observations and results
- A strong understanding of safety protocols and an ability to comply with all non-functional requirements during testing
Nice to have skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
- Experience with flight systems or other complex mechanical systems
- Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, or similar tools for test management
Your tasks will include:
- Collaborate with pilots to execute detailed test scenarios related to hardware and software systems integration
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all test results, including anomalies and unexpected behaviors
- Develop, maintain, and execute manual test cases for both software and hardware components of the system
- Analyze and report bugs, defects, and issues found during the testing phase, ensuring clear communication with the development and engineering teams
- Assist in test plan development and suggest improvements to existing test strategies
- Participate in various types of testing, including system integration, user acceptance, and flight tests
- Follow non-functional requirements such as ensuring smooth test execution in accordance with safety guidelines and procedures
- Ensure compliance with testing protocols and safety regulations during all test activities
- Maintain and update test documentation, records, and reports
