Design Engineer (вакансія неактивна)

The role is based in the Kyiv region, and we will expect you to work full-time in office. We have a shuttle service from the nearest metro station.

We’re looking for a Design Engineer to join our R&D team and help create next-generation unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). You’ll be involved in the entire design cycle — from concept to real product — working on advanced technologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

What is your Day to Day Mission:

1. Design & Development

• Create UAV designs using CAD systems (CATIA or similar).
• Perform structural and aerodynamic calculations, including FEM analysis.
• Work with composite materials and additive manufacturing technologies.

2. Prototyping & Testing

• Participate in building prototypes, conducting tests, and refining designs.
• Integrate electronic systems, propulsion units, sensors, and payloads into the overall design.

3. Documentation & Collaboration

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation: drawings, specifications, and requirements.
• Cooperate with manufacturing teams to ensure design compliance and implement updates.

What you bring you to the team:

• Higher technical education (aerospace, mechanical, or aeronautical engineering).
• Proven experience in designing aircraft, UAVs, or similar products.
• Proficiency in CAD systems (CATIA or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of aerodynamics, structural mechanics, and load calculations.
• Experience with composites and additive manufacturing (preferred).
• Understanding of integrating electronic and mechanical systems.
• Practical experience in prototype development and collaboration with production teams.

Would be a plus:

• Experience with military or civil UAVs.
• Knowledge of certification standards (MIL-STD, ISO, DIN, DSTU).
• Participation in drone or aeromodelling projects or competitions.
• Basic knowledge of electronics, control, and navigation systems.
