Responsibilities

Designing and building a WordPress front-end to substitute for an existing Craft CMS front-end
Handle migration from Craft CMS to Wordpress
Implement templates and plugins that accomplish the site goals
Integrate the front-end marketing site with the back-end Golang site
Creating the website architecture using our hosting provider, WPEngine.
Establishing best practices for a staging to production pipeline
Troubleshooting content issues, including dead links, missing images, poor formatting, etc.
Ongoing performance tuning of the site
Implementing security best practices
Ensuring high availability, disaster recovery, and backup

Requirements

Impeccable English fluency and an ability to work US hours
Proven ability as a Wordpress developer and administrator, as demonstrated with a portfolio or Github profile.
Knowledge of code versioning tools, especially Github
Proven ability to establish staging to production pipeline
Experience working with debugging tools
Excellent time estimation skills and ability to meet deadlines
Experience with project management tools such as Jira

Our company is seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to design and implement attractive and functional websites, implement sensible CI-CD workflows, migrate sites from Craft CMS, and maintain the site on an ongoing basis.

You should have in-depth knowledge of WordPress and other PHP-based CMS’s, a reasonable proficiency with front-end programming languages, an ability to integrate front-end marketing websites with back-end applications, strong content management skills, and an artistic eye for good design.
