We are growing fast and currently looking for an Azure Data Engineer who will work on building a data management solution for the key aftersales domain for Volvo Cars. The primary focus will be on choosing optimal solutions to use for these purposes, and then implementing, maintaining, and monitoring them.

Requirements:
• Experience in working in Agile teams;
• Previous experience as a data engineer or in a similar role;
• Demonstrated strength in data modeling, ETL/ELT development, Data Segmentation, and fundamental data management and data storage principles;
• Knowledge of programming languages;
• Hands-on experience with SQL database design;
• Experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS) — Microsoft Azure ecosystem is meritorious;
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps CI/CD setup along with integrations with data factory pipelines.

Responsibilities
• Analyze and organize raw data;
• Build data systems and pipelines;
• Evaluate business needs and objectives;
• Interpret trends and patterns;
• Combine raw information from different sources;
• Build data survivorship rules to merge data from various sources;
• Build CRUD capabilities on reference data;
• Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability;
• Conduct complex data analysis and report on results;
• Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling;
• Build algorithms and prototypes;
• Identify opportunities for data acquisition;
• Develop analytical tools and programs;
• Collaborate with data scientists and architects on several projects.
