We are looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer to develop and implement testing processes, automation tools and best practices for the world’s largest friendship discovery and social platform IMVU.
Skills and Experience:
— 5+ years of experience working as QA Engineer (backend);
— Experience creating API automation tests using Karate (prefered) or Rest-Assured framework;
— Experience using git, developer tools;
— Experience with agile/scrum methodologies;
— Comfortable with both manual testing and writing automated test scripts;
— Familiar with Rest API client such as Insomnia, Postman, SOAPUI;
— Experience using collaboration and productivity tools such as Jira, Confluence, TestRail;
— Able to think big-picture, across multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Desktop, Web);
— Result-oriented with high attention to detail;
— Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
— Knowledge of one of the following programming languages — PHP, C#/.Net;
— Experience using JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber framework, Selenium;
— Ability to adapt to fast paced environment.
— Write effective test cases from requirements documents;
— Execute manual test cases using rest clients such as Insomnia or Postman;
— Collaborate with developers, product managers and other QA engineers;
— Write and maintain automation test scripts in Karate framework;
— Run regression tests for every release cycle;
— Fire, track, verify bugs and work with developers to reproduce and explain issues;
— Fire, track, verify improvements in Jira, always working toward improving user experience;
— Willing to execute some frontend manual test cases from time to time;
— Able to context switch between different projects.
