We are inviting an experienced .Net Team Lead to join our team, diversify our experience, and help us in writing a new version of a large system managing a full-cycle of healthcare research document flow.
Our customer is a company owning a number of hospitals in Boston which host innovative medical research. Users of the system that we build are researchers at the forefront of such ongoing research activities as drug discovery, genetics, clinical patient care, diagnostics, information technology, and preventive medicine.

Total Team Size :
15 back-end engineers, 6 front-end engineers, 4 DBAs, 1 UX designer, 6 QA/BA and 1 PM.
Frontend: React JS, Redux, Flux, Sass, Webpack.
Backend: .Net Core, Asp.net Core, MS SQL, EF Core, Microsoft Azure.
— Background in software engineering, a degree in computer science or related technical discipline;
— 5+ years of commercial experience with .Net stack (.Net Core experience is welcome, but not mandatory);
— 3+ years in management positions of team lead, project manager or delivery manager;
— Strong SQL skills (understanding of how SQL queries work in order to suggest consistent engineering solutions);
— Experience with large enterprise projects;
— Experience with Web API;
— In-depth understanding of Entity Framework;
— Self-starter, able to see a project through from A to Z;
— English — Upper Intermediate or above.
— Advanced front-end JS skills;
— Experience with JS frameworks (Angular / Ember / React, etc.);
— Experience in building SPAs.

— Lead a Back-end development team;
— Distribute the BE work on the project by assigning tasks between BE Engineers in the team, manage the progress of all development activities against plan, etc.;
— Motivating team members and participating in evaluating their professional achievements and performance;
— Participating in groomings and estimation sessions;
— Plan and implement change requests;
— Take the responsibility for new release deployments;
— Take part in code review and refactoring;
— Working with the stakeholders, participating in meetings, providing the BE status updates(if needed), and troubleshooting;
— Collaborate with other team members (incl. Front-end Team lead, TDM, BSA, Architect, etc.).
