Lead Frontend Developer (GameDev) (вакансія неактивна)

We are looking for a Lead Frontend Developer to join an international technology company developing digital entertainment products, including Slots and Live Games.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role for an experienced engineer who can work across game client development and scalable backend systems, drive architecture decisions, and act as a bridge between engineering, product, and game design teams.

What you will do:

• Design and develop end-to-end game features across client and backend
• Build scalable, modular backend systems supporting different game clients
• Optimize both backend performance and client-side memory usage and FPS
• Implement observability, logging, monitoring, and crash reporting across the full stack
• Ensure secure client-server communication and contribute to anti-cheat and exploit prevention
• Translate product and game design requirements into technical solutions
• Drive architectural decisions and technical improvements
• Mentor engineers and promote high-quality development practices
• Manage technical debt, documentation, planning, and prioritization
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Game Designers, and engineering leadership

Requirements:

• 6+ years of software development experience
• 1+ year of leadership experience
• Strong full-stack expertise across game client development and backend architecture
• Experience designing scalable systems from the ground up
• Strong understanding of performance optimization, memory management, and system architecture
• Experience with mentoring engineers and leading projects through the full development lifecycle
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• iGaming / gambling experience will be a strong advantage
• Ukrainian or Russian and Fluent English — must‑have
