On behalf of our partner — a modern iGaming provider — we’re looking for a talented Game Mathematician to join the product team and help design innovative, engaging, and competitive game experiences.

Requirements:

University degree in mathematics, computer science, technology, or engineering

1.5+ years of commercial experience as a Game Mathematician (or similar role) in online gambling

Solid understanding of slot mechanics and game math design

Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve even small issues in math models

Excellent problem-solving skills with a passion for tackling complex mathematical challenges

Data-driven and analytical mindset in decision-making

Experience working in cross-functional teams

English level B2+

Will be a plus:

Scripting skills in Python

Experience with Git (or other version control systems)

Motivation by challenges and stretch goals

Strong mathematical intuition, creativity, and curiosity

Ability to evaluate games from a player’s perspective

Good self-organization and task prioritization skills

Responsibilities:

Design and fine-tune game mathematics and mechanics in collaboration with Product Owners and Game Developers

Run simulations of game math models and optimize for performance and player engagement

Research and analyze top-performing games from competitors to gain insights

Provide game math specifications and documentation for development teams

Participate in the full game development lifecycle — from concept to release

Deliver competitive analysis to support product decisions

Act as a sparring partner in internal discussions, bringing mathematical expertise to strengthen game design
