NewHomesMate is an online marketplace to find, compare, and buy new construction homes. We are a fast-growing startup on a mission to revolutionize the new construction home-buying experience.

We are looking for a passionate software engineer with a passion to build modern systems, the ability to innovate, and a willingness to experiment and grow. You will join a company in the early stages of its technological build-up and building a world-class product. At this stage, you’ll take part in making far-reaching engineering decisions about core systems and project architecture.
We expect you to have:
— 5+ years of commercial experience in front-end development;
— Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, and other web fundamentals;
— Strong knowledge of React.js, JavaScript, Typescript;
— Experience with such tools as Webpack, Git, GitHub, Figma;
— Passion for UI development and perfect design implementations;
Nice to have:
— Experience working with products in the Real Estate domain;
— Experience working with Maps (Google Maps, Mapbox, etc.);
— Experience working with Next.js;
Our technology stack:
— React 17 + (context, hooks), Jest, React Query;
— Typescript, next.js, Webpack;
— HTML5, CSS, RESTful API;
What you’ll do:
— Use React.js to create a highly usable client-facing product;
— Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code;
— Create from scratch and maintain high standards for code quality, code documentation, application performance, and stability;
— Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use;
— Collaborate through code reviews;
— Work with CI/СD instruments;
— Collaborate with teams to understand product vision and follow requirements;
— Writing unit tests;
— Optimization for achieving high application performance;
— Ask the right questions and think deeply about building solutions that support both our short-term and long-term goals.
