Senior Unreal Developer (вакансія неактивна)

Program-Ace is looking for an experienced Senior Unreal professional with more than 5 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of developers in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge projects using the Unreal Engine.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in game development, application development projects, etc., based on the Unreal Engine;
• Programming experience in C/C++ combined with skills in working with Unreal Engine;
• Profound experience creating multiplayer AA and AAA games;
• Experience in the video game industry working on PC, console or mobile games, having shipped at least 1 AAA game;
• In-depth knowledge of Unreal’s Blueprints;
• Familiarity with C# and Unit;
• Experience in technical leadership roles, managing small teams;
• Profound knowledge of object-oriented design and development patterns;
• Experience with project management tools and methods (Agile / Scrum);
• Solid understanding of coding processes, standards, and methodologies;
• Passion for problem-solving and a commitment to finding effective, clean solutions;
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
• Written and spoken English (at least Upper-Intermediate level).

Responsibilities

• Mentoring and team management;
• Game development;
• Utilization of standard development practices in the industry: source code control, resource pipelines, issue tracking, collaboration with external QA and localization teams;
• Providing technical recommendations and solutions when necessary;
• Developing technical solutions and implementing best practices to optimize project development processes;
• Structuring code bases;
• Conducting code reviews;
• Overseeing the creation of technical documentation;
• Participating in interviews with potential candidates for technical positions;
• Assessing the skills of potential candidates and their suitability for the team.
