As a Data Engineer with Data Analysis Capability, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, working with Data analytics platforms for data visualization, and managing data integrations between cloud providers and 3rd parties. Enable the organization to derive actionable insights based on d2c data and manage the funnel data initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into our data warehouse.
- Data Integration: Work on implementing and managing data integrations between cloud providers (e.g., AWS, GCP) and third-party data sources, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
- Data Analytics Expertise: Collaborate with data analysts and business users to create and maintain dashboards and reports for data visualization and analysis.
- Data Analysis: Utilize your strong data analysis skills to derive meaningful insights from complex datasets, assisting in decision-making processes and identifying trends and patterns.
- Database Management: Manage event databases and funnel data, ensuring data quality, security, and availability.
- Optimization: Continuously optimize data pipelines and processes for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of data engineering processes, models, and integration workflows.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, data analysts, software engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to understand their data needs and provide solutions.
Technical Skills and Platforms:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven experience in data engineering, ETL development, and data integration.
- 3+ years of strong technical background with expertise in relevant programming languages and technologies.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Scala).
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools, particularly Looker (Advantage).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and third-party data integrations.
- Ability to manage and maintain various types of databases, including time series data, rational, document.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with technical and non-technical team members.
- Upper-intermediate level of English or higher.
